What you will do

• Review patient ECG data and algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness using quality analysis tools.
• Identify and communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians according to notification protocols.
• Perform quality assurance before final reports are delivered and modify report formats when requested.
• Maintain required clinical proficiency and continuously develop ECG rhythm interpretation skills.
• Meet defined productivity and quality metrics while following HIPAA guidelines and Good Clinical Practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree or two years of college coursework is preferred.
• At least two years of experience as a cardiac telemetry or monitor technician, Holter scanner, or in another role requiring ECG interpretation.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• CCT certification required, or the ability to obtain certification within 120 days of hire; related qualifications such as RN or Paramedic may qualify.
• Intermediate PC proficiency, strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to analyze information and draw valid conclusions.
• Knowledge of cardiology terminology plus strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework.
• Experience as a telemetry or monitor technician, Holter scanner, or similar cardiac monitoring specialist.
