Python Developer (IoT)

Interexy is looking for a Python Developer with strong Data Engineering skills to join our team and work on cutting-edge solutions in the IoT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python frameworks (FastAPI)
• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines across multiple data sources
• Work with large-scale datasets (IoT, time-series, and event-driven data)
• Integrate with external systems via REST APIs and process JSON data
• Write efficient and scalable SQL queries
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to deliver actionable insights
• Troubleshoot and improve existing systems (including legacy platforms)
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance

Requirements

• Strong Python development experience
• Solid SQL skills (preferably SingleStore or MySQL-style dialects)
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• High attention to detail and strong debugging skills
• English level: B2 or higher

Nice to Have

• Experience with IoT, smart building systems, or sensor data (occupancy, IAQ, energy)
• Experience with time-series databases
• Experience working with event-driven architectures

• AWS (EC2, Docker Swarm) - legacy (maintenance)
