Deployment Strategist (Sustainability)

Location: Munich, Germany, with a flexible hybrid working culture and an office in Berlin-Mitte; based in Munich and willing to travel to customer sites

What you will do

• Own stakeholder alignment and change management across complex, multifunctional enterprise deployments from kickoff through full adoption.
• Engage with customer executives, sustainability leads, and operational teams to identify priorities, remove decision blockers, and maintain deployment momentum.
• Define deployment value stories, adoption roadmaps, and success metrics for different stakeholder groups.
• Design and execute adoption strategies across procurement, finance, R&D, and sustainability functions.
• Translate carbon footprints, Scope 3 analyses, and CSRD datasets into executive communications, board-level reporting, and regulatory submissions.
• Project-manage the workstream, track progress and risks, and share organisational insights with product, sales, and leadership teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in management consulting, enterprise software deployment, customer success, or senior B2B stakeholder management.
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with the ability to align executives and brief engineering teams.
• Structured thinking, strong analytical foundations, and rigorous problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations.
• Demonstrated ability to drive adoption and organisational change in complex environments.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Based in Munich and willing to travel to customer sites.

Nice to have

• Understanding of CSRD, CBAM, the GHG Protocol, or supply chain and procurement processes.
• Passion for sustainability and real-world decarbonization.
