QA Engineer - Backend (Kotlin) Middle (Fintech)

QA Engineer (Backend Kotlin): Developing and maintaining automated tests for high-availability platform services including authentication and user profiles with an accent on Kotlin and CI/CD integration. Location: Worldwide. Remote, or flexible work from offices in Cyprus, Serbia, Georgia, or Kazakhstan.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements to create detailed test scenarios and prepare test data.
• Perform and automate acceptance and regression testing.
• Write and maintain automated tests specifically using Kotlin.
• Detect, localize, and report defects using an issue tracking system.
• Develop the test project and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with the product team during development and participate in releases.

Requirements

• Experience in developing and maintaining test documentation.
• Proficiency in programming with Kotlin, Java, or Go.
• Experience with SQL and message queues (Kafka).
• Experience in developing and supporting test frameworks and autotests.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools.
• English: B1 level or higher required for communication with an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC and Protobuf.
• Experience with frameworks such as testify or dailymotion/allure-go.
• Experience in load testing.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns.
