QA Engineer - Backend (Golang) Middle+

TL;DR

QA Engineer (Backend Golang): Developing and maintaining automated tests for processing-related features including accounts, cards, and cashback with an accent on backend stability and CI/CD integration. Focus on writing automated tests in Go, analyzing complex requirements, and ensuring seamless client interaction with financial services.

Location: Worldwide (Remote) or Hybrid (Cyprus, Serbia, Georgia, Kazakhstan). Relocation support is available to these hubs.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, create test scenarios, and prepare test data.
• Perform automated acceptance and regression testing.
• Write and maintain automated tests using Go.
• Detect, localize, and report defects using an issue tracking system.
• Develop and maintain the test project and integrate automated tests into CI/CD.
• Collaborate with the product team during development and participate in releases.

Requirements

• Experience in developing and maintaining test documentation.
• Proficiency in programming with Go, Java, Kotlin, or Python.
• Experience with SQL and message queues (Kafka).
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools.
• Experience in test framework development and support.
• English: B1 or higher required for effective communication with an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC and Protobuf.
• Experience with frameworks such as dailymotion/allure-go or testify.
• Experience in load testing.
• Knowledge and understanding of software design patterns.
