What you will do

• Design, build, and deliver scalable backend systems and APIs using Go, emphasizing maintainability and backward compatibility.
• Develop full-stack product features using React and TypeScript.
• Lead complex, multi-team technical projects, defining operational guidelines and patterns.
• Collaborate with design and product partners in a triad model to iterate based on user feedback.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure production reliability and address user pain points.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge to multiply overall team impact.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in designing and maintaining backend systems and APIs in Go or similar languages.
• Professional proficiency with React and TypeScript for full-stack software delivery.
• Proven track record of planning and delivering complex technical projects across multiple teams.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Unable to provide visa sponsorship or support visa transfers.
• Experience supporting software in production and participating in on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
