What you will do

• Own end-to-end TT&C RF/PHY subsystem from requirements to validation.
• Define RF architecture, perform trade studies, and drive design decisions.
• Develop and defend link budgets, margins, and performance models.
• Model, simulate, and test RF and communication systems using lab equipment.
• Implement CCSDS TM/TC and work with DVB-S2/S2X waveforms.
• Collaborate with payload, avionics, software, ground segment, and AIT teams for full-system integration and verification.

Requirements

• 5+ years in space, satcom, or deep tech RF engineering.
• Prior spaceflight experience on at least one real mission.
• Strong hands-on RF system design, analysis, validation, and link budgets.
• Deep knowledge of CCSDS standards (TM/TC, coding, protocols) and ECSS.
• Experience with DVB-S2/S2X, security/encryption at PHY/link layer.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Python, RF simulation tools (ADS, CST, HFSS), and test equipment.
• Awareness of low-level software (C/C++, FPGA, drivers).

• Experience in integrated hardware/software environments.
