What you will do

• Own end-to-end spacecraft EMC strategy, requirements, and verification across avionics, power, and RF systems.
• Plan and execute full EMC test campaigns and hands-on testing (emissions, susceptibility, ESD, transients).
• Drive grounding, bonding, shielding, and return path design, including filtering and cable harness approaches.
• Perform conducted and radiated emissions analysis and manage EMC budgets.
• Debug hardware issues using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and antennas in a lab environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and AIT teams to mitigate system-level failure modes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of EMC engineering experience in spacecraft or aerospace systems
• Strong hands-on experience with emissions and susceptibility testing.
• Familiarity with ECSS-E-ST-20-07, MIL-STD-461, or DO-160 standards.
• Experience with simulation tools such as ADS, CST, or HFSS.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for analysis and modelling.
• Ability to work in integrated hardware/software environments.
