What you will do

• Design and build large-scale data storage and processing systems processing billions of records daily
• Drive long-term architecture and engineering excellence by coaching and mentoring engineers
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders
• Define and monitor SLAs following SRE best practices for system stability
• Build APIs for internal and external data consumers
• Impact ROI for billions in ad spend through reliable data syncing across ad channels

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience
• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Scala, Java)
• Deep experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Familiarity with streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis)
• Expertise in SQL and RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Experience with orchestration (e.g., Airflow) and data governance tools
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Proven track record designing large-scale data systems and technical leadership
• Ability to work hybrid from Helsinki office 3 days/week
