What you will do

• Analyze and review requirements and designs to identify gaps and issues
• Plan and execute testing: create checklists, configure environments, perform manual UI/API testing, report bugs, prepare reports, and communicate quality status
• Investigate customer-reported issues and implement preventative measures
• Prioritize tasks, make decisions, and guide engineering teams
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product managers for timely software updates
• Support implementation team with go-live activities and improve documentation
• Share system knowledge with teams and stakeholders

Requirements

• 3–5 years of QA experience, preferably at a software product company (bonus for climate/sustainability tech, travel, hospitality, or airline industries)
• Proficiency in API and UI testing, testing principles, best practices, and SDLC in Agile
• Experience testing NoSQL-backed applications, navigating non-relational data (plus for scalable aggregations/queries)
• Strong technical skills for deep dives, root cause analysis; command line, scripting, or programming advantageous
• Excellent communication for cross-functional work and conveying technical concepts
• Self-starter with attention to detail, curiosity, and drive to grow responsibilities
