Location: Remote; must be based in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, or Mexico. Time zone alignment: 8AM–5PM Pacific

What you will do

• Provide high-touch technical support and onboarding for internal developers using the compute platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes workloads, scheduling, services, and RBAC.
• Perform deep-dive Linux system investigations using tools like tcpdump, strace, and journalctl.
• Isolate and fix problems with Docker containers, images, and runtime environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with SRE and Platform teams to identify bugs and propose architectural improvements.

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in Linux (processes, filesystem, kernel) and Linux networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, specifically in internal or private cloud environments.
• Expertise in Docker and containerization.
• Ability to write and read Python scripts and proficiency with Git.
• Exceptional written and spoken English proficiency.
• Must be based in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, or Mexico and able to work 8AM–5PM Pacific time.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering field.
• Experience supporting private cloud or internal platform engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, or other distributed systems.
