VAT Specialist

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

What you will do

• Prepare and review VAT returns and other submissions to tax authorities.
• Provide VAT guidance and training to the business on legislation.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaise with external advisors as needed.
• Review and approve invoices from a VAT perspective.
• Work with VAT Compliance Senior Managers to drive system improvements.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in VAT return preparation, filings, and VAT accounting.
• Strong communication skills for clear interpretation of analysis.
• Ability to work across internal and external teams.
