Coding Specialist (Fluent in Spanish - Latin America) - AI Trainer

Location: Mexico; remote

Salary: $8–$65 per hour, with the final rate based on experience, expertise, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Converse with language models about software engineering tasks and technical scenarios in Latin American Spanish.
• Evaluate logical accuracy, coding fluency, and the naturalness and correctness of Spanish language usage.
• Challenge models on algorithms, data structures, software architecture, frontend and backend development, cloud infrastructure, and systems programming.
• Test topics including asynchronous programming, RESTful API integration, memory management, object-oriented design, secure coding, and distributed-systems debugging.
• Document reproducible error traces and failure modes.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Requirements

• Fluent Spanish for Latin America is required.
• Strong coding expertise across software engineering topics, including algorithms, data structures, architecture, and systems programming.
• Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to show your work.
• A bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical field is ideal.
• Real-world coding experience, technical writing in Spanish, or open-source contributions are relevant indicators of fit.
• Work is remote from Mexico and requires contractor-provided secure computer equipment and high-speed internet.
