Location: Šempeter pri Gorici, Slovenia; hybrid work model

is an international development partner and systems supplier for the automotive industry, working on internal combustion, hydrogen, fuel-cell, and electric mobility technologies.
What you will do
- Manage month-end closing, corporate reporting, annual budgets, monthly forecasts, cash-flow reporting, and standard cost changes in SAP.
- Analyze product and plant manufacturing costs, standard-to-actual variances, cost drivers, and operational performance.
- Track CAPEX and CIP controls, manage API counts, and lead annual fixed-asset physical counts in partnership with operations.
- Support the plant manager with production plans, forecasts, projections, and new product launches from a controlling perspective.
- Lead PPI savings and cost-reduction initiatives, including corrective action plans with operational teams.
- Maintain internal controls, coordinate with corporate finance functions, and support internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- At least 5 years of experience with SAP and experience in cost accounting.
- Slovenian and English language skills required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and full knowledge of PowerPoint bridge reports.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
