TL;DR
Head of Plant Controlling Sector (Automotive Manufacturing): Overseeing plant financial controlling including month-end closes, annual budgeting, cost analysis, and CAPEX tracking with an accent on manufacturing cost variances, standards to actuals reconciliation, and production forecasting. Focus on leading PPI savings initiatives, internal controls, and supporting new product launches from controlling perspective.

What you will do
- Handle month-end closes, reporting, annual standard cost changes in SAP, and high-level product analysis for MARS reporting.
- Track CAPEX, CIP controls, API counts, fixed assets physical counts, and cash flow reports in partnership with operations.
- Perform cost control from standards to actuals, analyze manufacturing costs, and explain variance drivers.
- Prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts for OR and ONCF levels, support plant manager with production plans and projections.
- Lead PPI savings initiatives, operational cost reductions, and corrective action plans.
- Maintain internal controls, adhere to policies, collaborate with corporate finance shared services, and support audits.
Requirements
- Slovenian and English languages required; German is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
- 5+ years in similar position, ideally automotive sector
- 5+ years SAP experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, full PowerPoint knowledge for bridge reports
- Manufacturing/automotive and cost accounting experience
- Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities; innovative continuous improvement focus
