TL;DR
Backend Architect (Fintech): Designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend architectures for a global financial analysis platform with an accent on distributed systems and high-load reliability. Focus on selecting optimal technology stacks, resolving performance bottlenecks, and ensuring seamless system integration.
Location: Tbilisi, Georgia (Hybrid). Relocation support is provided.
Salary: from 450,000 RUB/month (net)

What you will do
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend architectures aligned with business needs.
- Evaluate and recommend the most suitable backend technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Analyze, refine, and approve technical specifications for service development across various teams.
- Collaborate on seamless integration between backend systems, frontend components, databases, and third-party APIs.
- Optimize systems for high traffic loads, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to guarantee high availability.
- Define and enforce coding standards and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in backend development (Go, Java, Python).
- At least 3 years in an architect role focusing on distributed, high-load systems.
- Strong expertise in object-oriented design, multithreading, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Analytical thinking, ability to reason abstractly, and a collaborative engineering mindset.
- Proficiency in writing clear and structured technical documentation.
