What you'll be doing

• Manage day-to-day operations and maintain health of Tokyo device performance lab infrastructure.
• Execute daily test plans on Japanese market devices including Smart TVs, STBs, mobiles, and tablets.
• Replicate customer journeys like app launch, authentication, live streaming, VOD playback, and ads.
• Identify, log, and track performance degradation, playback issues, and UX defects using Jira and Confluence.
• Produce daily performance summaries and escalate issues to stakeholders.
• Conduct intensified monitoring during FIFA World Cup with pre-match checks, live oversight, and post-match reviews.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
• Proven background in QA, software testing, or physical device testing
• Strong attention to detail, structured reporting, and documentation
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work under pressure during high-traffic live events
