Solutions Architect (Space)

TL;DR

Solutions Architect (Space): Lead development of technical solutions for cislunar missions including landers, orbit transfer vehicles, lunar satellites, and rovers with an accent on concept design from low maturity to CML2+ level. What you will do

• Serve as R&D point of contact for domestic and global business development teams, engaging directly with customers to understand mission needs like mass requirements, landing sites, orbits, and operational constraints.
• Develop tailored technical proposals based on hirify.global products and roadmap, conducting analyses to select optimal solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, coordinate engineering teams for timely project delivery depending on scope and expertise.
• Report project progress, measure effort vs. plan to improve future efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
• Excellent communication in English and Japanese for detailed technical discussions with customers and BD teams
• 5+ years experience with relevant missions/orbits (communications, transport, space awareness) and at least two spacecraft subsystems (attitude/orbit control, communication, propulsion, power, structures, thermal)
• Space industry experience required

Nice to have

• Experience writing technical proposals for government or industry customers
• Systems engineering experience/education for space projects at mission level
• 3+ years project/technical management of small teams
• Familiarity with engineering tools like GMAT, STK
• Experience using Python or similar (e.g., MATLAB) in career
