What you will do

• Drive art direction across UI, 2D, 3D, Animation, and VFX teams to ensure consistency with the game vision.
• Lead creative brainstorms to define thoughtful visual solutions instead of simply executing briefs.
• Collaborate as a creative partner with Product, UX, Engineering, and Production to shape feature solutions.
• Build and lead the Barcelona-based art team, managing performance reviews, goal setting, and talent development.
• Drive the adoption of AI tools such as Scenario and Nano Banana to improve art exploration and production speed.
• Partner with Art Production to establish efficient and scalable high-quality art pipelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Art Director or Associate Art Director on a live game.
• Strong background in UI/UX-driven environments and guiding visual decisions in UI-heavy systems.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams including UI, 2D, 3D, Animation, and VFX.
• Deep understanding of how art supports gameplay, UX, and the overall player experience.
• Experience working within live operations environments, specifically for mobile or social games.
• Must be based in Barcelona, Spain, for a hybrid work arrangement.

• Experience working with established global IPs.
• Fluency in Spanish.
