What you will do

• Implement and improve Export Control Processes for hirify.global entities in Japan and South East Asia.
• Conduct regular audits and trainings to ensure compliance with export controls.
• Coordinate Foreign Trade Business support (S4 HANA / GTS) during ERP implementation for plant teams.
• Optimize the interface between plant operations and transport management for customs import and export processing.
• Act as a consultation partner for special cases and provide organizational training.
• Prepare materials for management meetings and create process comparisons.

Requirements

• University Bachelor's degree or above.
• Professional experience in the Import/Export field.
• Knowledge of Japanese customs regulations, FTAs, and Japanese Export Controls.
• Basic understanding of ERP operations and IT systems.
• Fluent Japanese and business English language skills.
• Must be based in Tokyo, Japan.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP/S4 and GTS.
• Professional certifications in Customs or Export Control (e.g., STC Advanced).
• Knowledge of US and EU Export Controls.
• Experience with customs processing in other Asian countries.
