Lead Assessor Lift

TL;DR

Lead Assessor Lift (Certification): Maintaining notifications, accreditations, and providing technical support for lifts sector clients under Lifts Directive with an accent on legal standards, internal procedures, and client audits. Focus on performing EU Design Examinations, verifying management systems and quality modules, and contributing to service development and institutional representation.

Location: Must be located in France, ideally Lyon or Paris area. Travels in France, Europe, and other countries required. Onsite and remotely when allowed for audits.

What you will do

• Maintain hirify.global’s Notification for Lifts Directive and company accreditation.
• Support lifts clients with legal and standard questions, internal procedures, qualifications, and processes.
• Provide technical support, training, workshops, and assist internal colleagues.
• Perform EU Design Examinations and lead audits of management systems, Lifts Directive quality modules, and QMS standards.
• Assess implementation of management systems at client sites across country, Europe, and beyond.
• Contribute to service development and represent hirify.global in institutional organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/engineering degree in Mechanics, Electricity, or Electromechanics
• Minimum 5 years in Lifts Industry (Design/Field) or 10+ years in TIC sector; 5+ years TIC related to Lifts Directive
• Located in France, ideally Lyon or Paris area; Class B driver's license; travels required
• Good French and English (level C)
• Knowledge of Lifts Directive requirements, EU directives, risk analysis, and related standards.
• Analytic, proactive, communicative; able to manage international customers and lead teams.

Nice to have

• IRCA or ICA qualification
• Knowledge of other EU Directives (e.g., PED)
• Familiarity with monitoring EU and local laws/regulations
