What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain network security measures to protect critical data and systems.
• Monitor network activity to identify and respond to security breaches, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to strengthen defenses.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports regarding security operations and incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in network security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies.
• Proficiency in network security tools and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and SSL.
• Must be located in or able to work from Nicosia, Cyprus.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or HPE (Routing/Switching).
• Familiarity with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools.
