TL;DR

Radiological and Nuclear Defense Program Analyst: Enable development of integrated RND capabilities for National Guard Bureau and Joint Force with an accent on threat evaluation, gap identification, investment strategies, and PPBE process. Focus on synchronizing DoD capabilities, providing technical assessments, and facilitating research and strategies for effective RND execution.

Location: Hybrid in Alexandria, VA (3-4 days onsite per week, 1-2 days remote)

What you will do

• Evaluate threats, identify gaps, and develop investment strategies for long-term access to innovative RND technical solutions and trained operators.
• Manage requirements collection, validation, and prioritization to support PPBE process and synchronize DoD RND capabilities.
• Review and assess integration of U.S. material solutions and overall RND capabilities.
• Facilitate coordination of research, engagements, strategies, and reviews for efficient RND task execution.
• Maintain resource investment strategies to inform senior OSD leadership on DoD material investments for RND.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, scientific, technical, management, or related discipline
• 8+ years of DoD RND experience in staff environment with assessments addressing cost, schedule, and performance

Nice to have

• Experience in Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Deterrence, Chemical, and Biological Defense, Policy and Programs
