What you will do

• Provide IP legal support for European/German subsidy and funding programs, including advising teams, drafting/negotiating NDAs, MoUs, grant agreements, and project cooperation agreements.
• Handle contracting matters, drafting and negotiating nondisclosure, development, and collaboration agreements with universities/partners.
• Support IP defense in Europe, including patent/technology licensing and litigation with in-house/outside counsel.
• Offer day-to-day IP counseling to business, R&D, and CTO teams on intellectual property matters.
• Draft patent applications for global protection, prosecute European patents, select inventions, and manage outside counsel.
• Advise inventors on IP matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Science with good knowledge of electronics/semiconductors.
• Fully or partially qualified European and/or German Patent Attorney.
• Experience in industrial IP department or law firm.
• Experience drafting contracts focused on development and IP terms.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
• Self-starter with autonomy, time-management, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in European/German subsidy and funding programs.
• Skills in French.
