TL;DR

Data Science Summer School Ljubljana (Adtech/ML): Hands-on one-week intensive program advancing data science and machine learning skills using real-world advertising data with an accent on practical application of advanced techniques on massive scale. Focus on navigating complete lifecycle of data science projects, experimentation with large datasets, and solving industry challenges in programmatic advertising.

Location: Onsite in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Full commitment to the entire one-week duration required.

What you will do

  • Work with data scientists and engineers on real-world data science projects using gigabytes of advertising data.
  • Apply advanced data science and ML techniques to solve industry challenges at scale.
  • Attend expert lectures, hands-on workshops, and experimentation sessions on essential DS/ML topics.
  • Learn from guest lecturers and connect with data science community through social activities.

Requirements

  • English proficiency required (official language of all presentations and materials)
  • Basic knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts from studies, courses, or Kaggle.
  • Strong coding skills; Python and TensorFlow helpful but not mandatory.
  • Final-year undergrad, master's/PhD students, recent graduates, or young professionals in CS or related fields.
  • Full availability for the entire program duration (6-10 July 2026).
