Systems Engineer - Riyadh/Jeddah

TL;DR

Systems Engineer (Sales Engineering): Collaborate with sales to secure and expand business through product demonstrations, POCs, and pre-sales support for hirify.global data resilience solutions with an accent on hypervisors, cloud environments, and customer enablement. Focus on conducting web-based and on-site demos, preparing BOMs and RFPs, and providing technical consultations to C-level stakeholders.

Location: Riyadh/Jeddah region, remote/hybrid with 50% travel across Saudi Arabia required.

What you will do

• Collaborate with sales to secure new business and expand with existing customers, cloud, and hosting providers.
• Conduct web-based and on-site product demonstrations, training, and joint meetings.
• Provide pre-sales support, on-site assistance during evaluations, and product POCs.
• Build customer relationships, contribute to marketing events, and prepare BOMs, RFPs/RFQs.
• Demonstrate technologies, train staff/customers, identify opportunities, and perform competitive analysis.
• Coordinate presales with architects, integrators, and services teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years as Systems Engineer.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills, comfortable presenting remotely and in-person.
• Expected 50% travel across Saudi Arabia.
• Hands-on experience with hypervisors and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of VMware, Nutanix AHV, RedHat, Microsoft virtualization in large environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS.

Nice to have

• VMCE certification (can obtain after starting).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, databases (Oracle, SQL, DB2, SAP).
• Understanding of data privacy/security standards (GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
