PR Specialist (SaaS): Drafting press releases, pitching stories, and managing communications across B2B, B2C, corporate, and crisis disciplines with an accent on media relationships and internal comms. Focus on building media lists, tracking coverage, and supporting crisis response workflows.

What you will do
- Draft, edit, and localize press releases, media pitches, Q&As, holding statements, and executive messaging
- Proactively pitch stories to trade, industry, technology, lifestyle, F&B, and hospitality media; build and maintain media lists
- Develop relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, KOLs, and influencers in the Japanese market
- Support crisis communications planning and response, including rapid-response workflows
- Collaborate with HR on internal communications like announcements, newsletters, and town halls
- Track media coverage, compile reports, and provide actionable recommendations
Requirements
- Minimum five years of PR & communications experience, ideally in start-up, scale-up, SaaS or technology company
- Demonstrable track record of earned media results across multiple disciplines
- Established media relationships in trade, industry, technology, lifestyle, F&B, and/or hospitality sectors
- Familiarity with PR measurement tools and media monitoring platforms
- Japanese (fluent or native) and English (business proficiency) — written and spoken
- Strong project management skills in fast-paced environment; comfortable with ambiguity
