What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Build and deploy AI/ML and LLM-powered applications, including prompt orchestration and RAG
• Develop secure, high-performing RESTful APIs and manage ML models in production
• Architect data storage across relational, NoSQL, and vector databases
• Implement containerized solutions with Docker and ECS/EKS
• Collaborate with teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure code quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 4+ years backend development, including 2+ years with AI/ML or LLM systems
• Strong Python and API development proficiency
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock)
• SQL and NoSQL databases; asynchronous programming, event-driven architectures
• Testing frameworks and software best practices

Nice to have

• PySpark, Databricks, or distributed data processing
• MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis) and ETL pipelines
• Microservices, observability, GraphQL, regulated industries experience
