Accountant

TL;DR

Accountant (Cybersecurity): Maintain and control General Ledger accounts and business transactions applying GAAP, including analytical work and thorough review of financial records. Focus on assisting with monthly/year-end reporting, generating ad hoc reports, analyzing financial data, and supporting AR/AP functions and month-end close.

What you will do

• Assist with accurate and timely monthly and year-end reporting (W-2, W-2c).
• Generate ad hoc reports as required.
• Compute and process manual/off-cycle check requests.
• Analyze and coordinate financial data for useful reporting.
• Maintain files and support documentation of processes, procedures, and controls.
• Support accounts receivable/payable functions and month-end close with journal entries.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years corporate accounting experience (small to medium businesses preferred)
• Strong understanding of ledger, journal entries, and accounting principles.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience using accounting software (Xero preferred).
• Intermediate Excel knowledge (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Strong attention to detail, data analysis skills, and communication.
