What you will do

• Translate system and subsystem requirements into detailed test cases, procedures, and automated scripts.
• Develop, execute, and troubleshoot tests, analysing results for thorough coverage across normal, boundary, and fault conditions.
• Assist in designing, implementing, and qualifying automated and semi-automated test systems for physiologic monitoring devices.
• Configure and operate test equipment, instrumentation, simulators, and data acquisition systems.
• Analyse test results, identify defects, document findings, and collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and quality engineers to verify fixes.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing and executing manual, automated, or semi-automated test cases for complex electromechanical or embedded systems.
• Proficiency with test automation tools, scripting, or programming languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, C/C++).
• Experience with test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analysers, signal generators, simulators, and data acquisition systems.
• Strong understanding of requirements-based testing, traceability, test coverage, and design-for-testability.
• Ability to analyse test data, troubleshoot issues across hardware/software interfaces, and document results.
• Familiarity with medical device development processes, quality systems, verification, and validation.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated test frameworks such as Robot Framework or LabVIEW.
