TL;DR

Staff iOS Developer (Hospitality POS): Enhance the hirify.global POS iOS application for hospitality commerce with an accent on innovative features, user workflows, and integrations for EMEA and NOAM markets. Focus on designing efficient mobile apps, maintaining integrations, and expanding capabilities for new markets using Swift and related technologies.

Location: Fully remote option available

Salary: $165k-175k CAD (for work within Ontario)

What you will do

  • Collaborate with top talents to develop innovative features and user-centric workflows for the iOS POS app.
  • Design and implement efficient, functional iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
  • Balance new feature development and maintenance of existing integrations, focusing on market expansion.
  • Engage with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and cross-functional teams for seamless POS integration.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, brainstorming, and code quality improvements.
  • Share insights, adopt best practices, and innovate to elevate team and app performance.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English required as working language.
  • Advanced Swift skills (ideally Objective-C).
  • Good knowledge of Structured Concurrency, UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, REST APIs.
  • Experience writing automated unit and functional tests.
  • Strong software design understanding and code quality focus.
  • Team player, self-motivated, eager to learn and share knowledge.

Nice to have

  • Experience with local network communication and external accessories (e.g., payment terminals, printers).
