Senior Motion Designer

TL;DR

Senior Motion Designer (Fintech SaaS): Produce marketing videos, motion showcases, UI animations, and micro-interactions that communicate product value and elevate user experience with an accent on scalable motion principles, performance optimization, and cohesive visual identity. Focus on defining motion systems, collaborating with designers and engineers, and translating brand into production-ready animations across product and marketing touchpoints.

Location: Remote from anywhere in Europe or the UK; optional work from London office.

What you will do

• Produce marketing videos and motion showcases communicating product value.
• Create on-brand motion assets for launches, website, social, campaigns, and sales.
• Design UI animations, micro-interactions, transitions, loading states, and onboarding flows.
• Define scalable motion principles (timing, easing, hierarchy, responsiveness) for engineers.
• Collaborate with product designers and engineers to ship production-ready animations.
• Optimize animations for performance across platforms and touchpoints.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years professional motion design experience.
• Strong portfolio with product/UI motion and brand/marketing work.
• Experience creating motion for interfaces and storytelling campaigns.
• Deep understanding of animation principles for digital products.
• Comfortable collaborating with engineers on technical constraints.
• Advanced After Effects, Premiere Pro; strong Figma.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rive.
• Familiarity with Lottie, Framer Motion, CSS animations.
• 3D skills (Cinema 4D, Blender).
• Fintech, accounting software, or B2B SaaS experience.
• Motion design system contribution.
