What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java or Scala
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
• Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services
• Work on event-driven architectures using Kafka or equivalent messaging tools
• Ensure high code quality through unit and integration testing
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and system observability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and share knowledge

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in Java or Scala and JVM ecosystem
• Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Play, Akka, or Pekko
• Solid understanding of functional programming
• Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka
• Strong knowledge of SQL and MongoDB
• Experience with testing practices, CI/CD, and observability tools
