What you will do

• Define and execute APAC public policy strategy aligned with business and global objectives.
• Anticipate political, regulatory, and reputational risks, developing action plans.
• Advise APAC executive leadership on policy issues and tradeoffs.
• Lead engagement with governments, regulators, communities, trade associations, and stakeholders.
• Build and lead a high-performing public policy team.
• Integrate policy into business development, site selection, energy procurement, sustainability, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred
• 10+ years in public policy/government relations in Asia-Pacific across multiple markets
• Deep experience engaging policymakers in APAC
• Fluency in English with exceptional communication skills; public speaking experience
• Background in infrastructure sectors like energy, tech, telecom; high-growth organizations preferred
• Experience managing teams, budgets, third parties, and compliance with anti-corruption laws
• Comfortable with international travel

Nice to have

• Familiarity with digital infrastructure issues like energy and land use
• Fluency in another APAC language
• Media training and interview experience
