Game Design Intern

TL;DR

Game Design Intern (Battlefield): Implement progression ranks, item rewards, and quests using the Frostbite Engine and EA's proprietary tools with an accent on engagement, customization, and social features. Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) in Stockholm, Sweden. Must be eligible to work in Stockholm, Sweden, without the need for visa/relocation support. Available for full-time 6-month placement starting September 2026.

What you will do

• Implement progression ranks, item rewards, and quests using the Frostbite Engine and EA's proprietary tools.
• Learn and apply hirify.global's production workflows in a live development environment.
• Document design work and communicate requirements to partners across disciplines.
• Collaborate with the engagement game design team to refine progression systems and align features with Battlefield's vision.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at university or education provider with a planned internship period (e.g., LiA).
• Eligible to work in Stockholm, Sweden, without visa/relocation support.
• Available for full-time 6-month placement starting September 2026.
• Familiarity with the Battlefield franchise.
• Understanding of best practices in progression systems.
• Experience working with game engines.
• Experience documenting design intent and technical requirements.
