Game Design Intern

TL;DR

Game Design Intern (Battlefield): Shaping large-scale gameplay experiences for the Battlefield franchise with an accent on level and system design using Frostbite engine and production workflows. Focus on documenting design work, communicating requirements, and collaborating across disciplines to align features with the game's vision.

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) in Stockholm, Sweden. Must be eligible to work in Stockholm without the need for visa/relocation support.

What you will do

• Learn and use Frostbite Engine and EA's proprietary tools in a live development environment.
• Apply hirify.global's production workflows while working with the game design team.
• Document design work and communicate requirements to partners across disciplines.
• Collaborate to craft levels and systems for gameplay, ensuring alignment with Battlefield's vision.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at university or education provider with a planned 6-month internship period (e.g., LiA).
• Eligible to work in Stockholm, Sweden, without visa/relocation support.
• Available for full-time 6-month placement starting September 2026.
• Understanding of first-person shooter mechanics and the Battlefield franchise.
• Experience with level design, game engines, and documenting design intent.
