TL;DR

What you will do

  • Review and stabilize Databricks and Foundry implementations including pipelines, ontology schemas, and applications.
  • Identify performance issues, technical debt, and governance gaps across data layers.
  • Lead ontology governance, design reviews, and schema changes as a gatekeeper.
  • Define target data architectures, coding standards, and testing strategies.
  • Design CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and create architecture documentation.
  • Build reusable Workshop components and validate new platform solutions (40% hands-on coding, 60% architecture/leadership).

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in data engineering or platform architecture.
  • Expertise in modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.); Foundry preferred.
  • Advanced Python (PySpark), SQL (Spark SQL), TypeScript; distributed processing (Spark).
  • Relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle); CI/CD, Git, ETL, performance optimization.
  • Very good proficiency in English and French; strong communication and leadership.
