Control Systems Simulation and Calibration Engineer (Automotive): Optimize vehicle and powertrain control systems parameters to improve safety, emissions, fuel economy, performance and drivability with an accent on smart calibration processes, tools and simulation platforms for future technologies like electrification, H2 solutions, ADAS and fuel cell vehicles. Focus on developing KPIs and requirements, test case creation, analysis and applying system knowledge in R&D projects.

What you will do
- Optimize vehicle and powertrain control systems for safety, emissions, fuel economy, performance and drivability.
- Develop smart calibration processes, tools and simulation platforms for emerging technologies including electrification, H2, ADAS and fuel cells.
- Generate KPIs and requirements, develop test cases and perform analysis using system and domain knowledge.
- Conduct environmental tests worldwide (USA, Italy, Finland, Spain) and collaborate with global experts on latest trends.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc/PhD in electrical/electronic, controls, mechatronics, automotive, mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in R&D and product development projects.
- Good understanding of electrified/hybrid powertrains, ADAS/AD, transmissions, engines or aftertreatment systems.
- Experience in controller/algorithm design, optimization, system dynamics, modeling, data acquisition/post-processing with Matlab/Simulink.
- Experience in automotive diagnostics and network communications (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Fluent spoken and excellent written English.
Nice to have
- Programming experience (C#, Java, Python).
- German, French or Italian language skills.
