What you will do

• Master production technology stacks and take responsibility for site performance, uptime, and scalability.
• Develop monitoring dashboards, alerting, and runbook documentation for products.
• Identify technical problems, develop solutions, and partner with application teams for scalable customer solutions.
• Build and propose architecture changes for scalability and reliability.
• Develop tooling for deployment and release processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or related discipline
• 6+ years of professional hands-on software engineering or site reliability experience
• Experience with at least one object-oriented language like Java, C++, C
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Perl
• Public cloud provider experience (AWS or GCP)
• Containerized solutions with Docker and Kubernetes
• Common service technologies: web servers, message queues, load balancers, databases
• Fluency in observability tools and methodologies
• Flexibility for work hours and on-call duties
