Powertrain Test Engineer - Engine Dyno

Powertrain Test Engineer (Engine Dyno): support the development, validation, and testing of advanced powertrain systems through high-quality engine dynamometer testing with an accent on operating, supervising test activities, and technical coordination of multiple test rooms. Focus on planning and executing test plans, ensuring data quality, resolving hardware/software issues, and continuous process improvement.

Istanbul, TR. Initially based in Kocaeli. Expected to relocate to Istanbul after project phase.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and monitor engine dynamometer test activities according to test plans
• Manage daily operation of multiple engine test rooms
• Coordinate and technically support test technicians and shift activities
• Operate and supervise engine testing using hirify.global PUMA automation systems
• Ensure correct setup, operation, and maintenance of dynamometers and measurement equipment
• Resolve test bed hardware, software, instrumentation, and DAQ issues

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 1-3 years professional experience in engine dynamometer test operation and workflows
• Solid understanding of internal combustion engine systems (air path, fuel, combustion, cooling, lubrication, exhaust)
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, instrumentation, and software
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• Fluent spoken and written English

Nice to have

• Experience with emissions, performance, durability, or calibration-support testing
• Experience with hirify.global PUMA test automation
• Experience coordinating multiple test rooms or shifts
