What you will do

• Build, maintain, and enhance quantitative research tools, analytics engines, trading models, and data pipelines
• Collaborate with investment professionals on developing and backtesting systematic trading strategies, signal generation, and portfolio construction
• Acquire, clean, and transform data; apply statistical techniques and financial analysis to derive actionable insights
• Interface with researchers, engineers, and portfolio managers to translate hypotheses into production-ready code and tools
• Document system architectures and processes; conduct code reviews and knowledge-sharing

Requirements

• Location: Abu Dhabi, Middle East
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills, proficient in handling financial datasets
• Experience developing and implementing systematic trading strategies
• Strong analytical thinking with background in statistics, econometrics, or data science
• Understanding of core financial concepts: portfolio theory, risk models, pricing of instruments
• Bachelor’s or higher in quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance); advanced degrees a plus
• At least 5 years relevant experience in quantitative research or development
• Hands-on experience building production-quality tools for systematic research and trading platforms
