TL;DR

Data Management Analyst (Data Governance): Architect hirify.global’s Data Governance Framework at the intersection of Data Engineering and Business Intelligence, aligned with DAMA DMBOK standards. Lead deployment of metadata and governance platforms, infrastructure, and processes to transform data estate into a formal Data Asset with high discoverability and quality. Focus on Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Risk, and embedding AI-native Governance-as-Code processes.

What you will do

• Own the Data Catalogue and Governance platform, integrating across modern data stack with intelligent automation.
• Design universal Business Glossary, Technical Metadata schema, ownership, lineage, and AI-automated processes.
• Optimize data discovery and searchability using Agentic AI for faster insights.
• Embed dbt tests and quality assertions in CI/CD pipelines, aligned with DAMA Data Quality dimensions.
• Monitor data lineage, perform impact analysis, and standardize reference data.
• Implement PII classification, ABAC/RBAC, Data Stewardship, and lifecycle management.

Requirements

• 2–5 years in Data Governance, Analytics Engineering, or Data Management; DAMA DMBOK familiarity preferred.
• Advanced SQL and hands-on dbt experience to audit transformation logic.
• Proven AI automation and agentic AI patterns in processes/tooling.
• Experience with enterprise catalogs like Databricks Unity Catalog, Alation, Collibra, or DataHub.
• Understanding of GDPR, SOC2, ISO 27001 mapped to data structures and access.
• Experience with high-volume integrations like Fivetran, Stitch, or Airbyte.
