What you will do

• Explore, evaluate, and integrate external partner APIs like The Trade Desk and DV360.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services and data pipelines for ingesting and transforming large-scale ad auction data.
• Expose internal endpoints for other teams and reconcile data from partner platforms and DV systems.
• Operate production systems, improve observability, and ensure scalability under heavy loads.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering to bridge business needs and technical constraints.
• Partner with AI platform teams to deploy agentic solutions and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 3+ years in data engineering, backend engineering, or similar
• Strong Python and SQL; Java, Rust a plus
• Experience with external APIs, production services, and large-scale data pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud, Git, CI/CD, Docker, container orchestration
• Comfortable with ambiguous systems and cross-team collaboration
• Focus on automation, reliability, observability, data-driven decisions

Nice to have

• AdTech or auction-based systems experience
• AI-augmented development (Claude Code, Cursor)
