What you will do

• Develop and implement NPC behaviours and character movement in UE5.
• Fulfil design visions for realistic high NPC behaviours, movement, and simulation.
• Work closely with Game Designers, Animators, and Project Managers.
• Deliver high performance, high-quality code.
• Prioritize and execute tasks while anticipating production technical needs.

Requirements

• Strong C++ and object-oriented programming skills.
• At least 5 years of experience in the games industry as a software engineer.
• Strong experience implementing gameplay systems to support design and animation.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Capable in building optimized game systems for AAA games.
• Great knowledge of technological and organizational aspects of AAA game development, low-level system architecture, and 3D mathematics.
• Good organizational and communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Unreal Engine experience.
• Experience in developing NPC, AI, movement, and pathfinding.
• Console development background.
• Agile development experience.
• Direct optimization and performance experience.
