TL;DR

Employment Relations Specialist: Advise HR and line organization on complex employment law matters and interpretations of collective agreements with an accent on Nordic HR projects, employee benefits coordination, and union cooperation. Focus on aligning employment relations processes across Nordics, providing training on legal topics, and driving work environment initiatives from a legal perspective.

Location: Ballerup, Denmark (hybrid workplace possible)

What you will do

  • Support HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and line organization as trusted advisor on legal matters and collective agreements
  • Participate in Nordic HR projects on employment relations, compensation, and benefits
  • Coordinate Danish employee benefits, monitor trends, and ensure competitiveness
  • Align and improve employment relations processes across Nordic countries
  • Engage in union cooperation and negotiations in Denmark
  • Provide training and tools for HR and leaders on employment relations topics
  • Drive work environment topics legally in collaboration with HR Business Partners

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in law
  • At least 7+ years’ work experience in an HR organization
  • Strong expertise in Danish labor law and employee-related matters
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and resilience
  • Experience in negotiations of local collective agreements (meritorious)
  • Knowledge of insurance/financial branch collective agreement (meritorious)
