TL;DR

Corporate Sustainability Manager (ESG/Compliance): Support implementation of sustainability compliance efforts focusing on EU regulations, EUDR implementation, supplier due diligence, and sustainability data management. With an accent on coordinating compliance with timber regulations, maintaining due diligence systems, and validating supplier documentation using AI-driven tools. Focus on monitoring regulatory developments, audit preparation, and process optimization.

Location: Munich Office, flexible hybrid setup with 3 office days per week. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

What you will do

• Coordinate compliance with EUDR, UK Timber Regulation, and Swiss Timber Trade Ordinance, including supplier traceability and internal reporting.
• Operate and maintain due diligence systems like osapiens and internal trackers for data completeness and consistency.
• Review and validate supplier documentation and due diligence outputs using AI tools for risk assessment.
• Collaborate with teams on audits, training, and process optimization.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support broader sustainability compliance topics.

Requirements

• 4-6 years experience in sustainability, compliance, or ESG, with knowledge of EUDR, UKTR, Swiss Timber Ordinance as a plus.
• Proven experience in due diligence, supplier traceability, and compliance data validation, leveraging AI tools.
• Expertise in compliance platforms like osapiens, Asana, Excel for data management.
• Excellent organizational, project management skills, attention to detail.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
