TL;DR

Legal Counsel (AI/SaaS): Own commercial contracts end-to-end, elevate GDPR compliance, monitor AI regulations, and manage IP for a leading AI photo editor platform. Focus on drafting agreements, implementing privacy by design, assessing regulatory impacts on ML products, and supporting business teams.

Location: Paris-based, 3 days/week in the office. We offer relocation within Europe. Visa sponsorship and relocation support only available for positions based in France. Cannot sponsor visas for remote positions outside of France.

Compensation: €63,000 to €76,000 depending on seniority + Stock-Options/BSPCE

What you will do

• Own commercial contracts: draft, review, negotiate for sales, growth, product, engineering.
• Enhance GDPR compliance: implement privacy by design, update data registers, policies, IT security.
• Monitor AI regulations: assess impact on ML/AI products, help teams adapt.
• Manage IP: trademarks, domains, infringement monitoring in new markets.
• Support Head of Legal on corporate, labour, public affairs as business expands.

Requirements

• 2-5 years legal experience in tech: at top-tier/tech law firm or in-house at SaaS startup/scale-up; hands-on with commercial contracts + GDPR/privacy, IP, or regulatory compliance.
• Master's degree in law (Bar admission plus).
• Fluent in French and English (written/spoken for drafting/negotiating).
• Business-oriented: practical solutions in commercial context, async/remote-friendly workflow.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI technologies and legal implications (EU AI Act).
