What you will do

• Maintain, monitor, and support production and development databases, troubleshooting integrity, performance, blocking, replication, connectivity, and security issues.
• Handle SQL Server resource contention like CPU, memory, I/O, and disk space; apply high availability via backups, clustering, availability groups, and replication.
• Implement operational automation, install/configure SQL Servers, apply patches, and plan storage/partitioning.
• Write, optimize, and maintain stored procedures; perform T-SQL performance tuning, index management, and database optimization.
• Collaborate with development teams on efficient database designs, deploy change scripts, and model data for read/write workloads.

Requirements

• Experience in Payments, FinTech, or financial services, particularly PCI DSS-regulated environments.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server for querying and analyzing payment data.
• .NET/C# experience.
• Experience with Jira, source control systems, browser console.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, managing tasks and prioritizing in dynamic environments.
• Understanding of online entertainment and gambling industry.
