Quest Design Intern (Gamedev)

TL;DR

Quest Design Intern (Gamedev): Designing full, cohesive story beats and implementing quests in engine with an accent on non-linear storytelling and collaboration with gameplay and cinematic designers. Focus on creating design documents, building proficiency in game editor, and ensuring high quality of content.

Location: Hybrid office-first (at least 3 days/week in Warsaw office). You are going to reside in Poland throughout the whole internship.

Salary: 31.40 PLN gross hourly (July to end of September, 40h/week).

Studio creating revolutionary, story-driven RPGs like The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.

What you will do

• Design full, cohesive story beats for quests.
• Create design documents.
• Implement quests directly in the game engine.
• Build proficiency in operating within the game editor.
• Collaborate actively with gameplay designers, cinematic designers, and QA.
• Continuously ensure high quality of content.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Fresh high school graduate or university student.
• Reside in Poland throughout the whole internship.
• Available from beginning of July until end of September (40h/week).
• Good command of English (CV must be in English).
• Passion for storytelling, creativity, interest in non-linear methods, eagerness to collaborate, ability to work in short iteration cycles, openness to feedback.

Nice to have

• Extensive knowledge of CDPR games.
• Any experience working in the industry.
• Experience with game development editors (especially REDkit).
• Experience in pitching design concepts.
• Passion for other creative fields.
