AI Product Designer (Mobile App)

Location: Remote across Germany, with offices in Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich

hirify.global is building an integrated renewable-energy system combining solar, batteries, heat pumps, e-mobility, and software through its Heartbeat AI virtual power plant.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for core Heartbeat app features, from discovery through delivery.
• Use AI throughout the design process to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and execution.
• Improve the product experience and ship polished, production-ready mobile app experiences.
• Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and surveys.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists.
• Turn complex energy data and concepts into simple product decisions and experiences.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Daily use of AI tools in the design process, with work examples to demonstrate.
• Strength across UX process, visual design, UI craft, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience taking features from an initial problem statement through to a shipped product.
• Proficiency in mobile app design patterns and strong communication skills.
• English is the working language.

• Fluency in German.
