What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and RESTful APIs
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize database performance
• Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure long-term system maintainability
• Write automated API tests and collaborate with frontend, product, QA, and DevOps teams
• Work in a remote-first, fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment

Requirements

• Proficient in English for remote collaboration
• 3+ years professional experience with PHP and Laravel
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Ability to write automated API tests
• Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, AWS or other clouds
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Rollbar, CloudWatch) and strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
